Why Pontiac owners choose us
Pontiac stopped production years ago, so owners of a G8, Solstice or classic Firebird often struggle to find a workshop with patience for older cars. Gear Plus Garage in Mussafah 13 begins with a full 360-degree inspection and a written quote. Nothing starts without your approval. Parts are OEM quality, with a workmanship warranty.
An independent garage is the practical choice for a discontinued brand. You speak to the people working on the car, read an itemised quote and choose which repairs go ahead. Repairs can come with up to 30% off, every service includes a free car wash, and contract customers get free pickup and return.

Pontiac FAQs
Common questions before booking. If yours isn't covered, give us a call.
Do you service Pontiac cars?
Yes. We work on Pontiacs such as the G8, Solstice, Grand Prix and Firebird. Because the brand is discontinued, call +971 50 379 4432 with your model and year so we can confirm the work.
Are parts for Pontiacs hard to find?
Some are. We use OEM-quality parts and confirm availability after inspecting the car, so your written quote shows what is needed before you approve any work.
Why does my G8 overheat in summer?
Weak fans, a tired radiator, old hoses or a failing water pump are typical causes. We inspect the cooling system and give you a written quote before starting.
Can you check an older Pontiac before I buy it?
Yes. Our pre-purchase inspection covers mechanical, electrical and body condition, and you receive written findings, which matters for any older or imported car.
My Firebird clutch is slipping. What should I do?
Slipping, a high biting point or a burning smell points to clutch wear. We inspect the clutch and gearbox and explain the repair in writing before you approve anything.
